Mike and Ann were born in Omaha, Nebraska and both grew up in an inner city neighborhood. They have been married for 28 years have 5 children, and 6 grandchildren. They moved to California in 1988 and to San Francisco in 1995 when Mike took the pastorate of a church in the Mission District. Mike’s call to serve in San Francisco was confirmed by Ann.
They began volunteering at City Crossroads in 1998 and became Co-Directors in 2000. Ann is the administrator for City Crossroads and the director of the San Francisco Missions Outpost (SFMO). Mike continues to pastor the church, which now holds all of its services in the South of Market Area facility that also houses City Crossroads.
